Jason Kelce, the Eagles starting Center will join Jason Peters as the second member of the Eagles offensive line to be placed on the season ending Injured Reserve. Jason Kelce left the game against the Ravens with what appeared to be a serious knee injury, and unfortunately, that’s exactly what it was. Kelce tore his ACL, and will now be replaced by Dallas Reynolds.
Dallas Reynolds went undrafted in 2009 and is now in his second season on an NFL roster. Reynolds took over for Kelce after the injury occurred and is expected to be taking over for Kelce for the remainder of the season. This is a huge blow to what was already considered a weak offensive line. Let’s hope that Jason Kelce can have a speedy recovery to be ready for next season, and that Reynolds can hold his own as the replacement.
